Description
This 8-hour wet lab allocates 4 hours for canine patients and 4 hours for feline patients. Instruction will focus on proper flap creation, using a high-speed handpiece with dental burs to section multirooted teeth, and effective techniques for removing alveolar bone. Hand instruments for extracting single and multi-rooted teeth in dogs and cats will be used. Complications during extractions will be addressed, including root retrieval and managing ankylosed and resorbed tooth structures.

Description
This 16-hour, 2-day event on veterinary dentistry is a combination of lectures and hands-on workshops for both veterinarians and technicians.
